Has nothing to do with Islaam. Arabs have their own soap operas, they belly dance, they smoke, and do all sorts of garbage as well. Arabs do not equal Muslims, even though Islaam enriched Arab culture tremendously in the good ways. Yet Egyptians still pride their selves in gold, Syrians pride themselves in family lineage, and Saudis still pride themselves in family status. It's all Pre-Islamic notions. In libreal muslim countries like bahrain, turkey n the UAE...........yep women belly dance librally, and in the red districts, even more erotically. In a more conservative muslim country like saudi or iraq, muslims women do actually belly dance, but there is a time and place. If in a function such as a wedding or a party it is tolerated.
